Have you ever thought about whether your children might have trouble seeing? Think about it. Children have no idea whether they're seeing clearly or not. How can they? They have nothing to compare with. And since they rarely complain, parents don't realize their child has poor vision.

Here's a perfect example: One of our eye doctors recently told us of a young patient who said that he thought everyone saw TWO baseballs and that part of the game was to figure out which one to hit.

Did you know that sight disorders are the fourth most common disability and most prevalent impeding condition found in children?

Did you know that of 74 million children only 14 percent have had a vision evaluation by the age of 5?

Did you know that 20 percent of school-aged children have a learning disability of which 70 percent of these have some degree of vision impairment?

Did you know premium Polycarbonate lenses treated with scratch-resistant coating and ultraviolet filters are recommended for youngsters who use computers, play video games or watch television?

Did you know many designers are lending their names to ophthalmic eyewear and sun-wear collections so kids who need glasses can still be cool?

For a few dollars more you can cover your entire family. Put the focus on family and consider enrolling today in one of our 20/20 Family Vision Care Plans. Remember, an annual eye exam is an important step to helping your child realize his or her full potential.
